The Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale, a community treble choir was founded in 2011 by Artistic Director, Judy Sagen. The chorale has performed at ACDA Fall Conferences in 2014, 2017, and 2022 and the Northern Voice Festival at the Ordway Theater in St. Paul. They have collaborated with guest artists such as Broadway star, Laura Osnes and Twin cities gospel legend Robert Robinson. They award scholarships annually to senior treble singers who choose to continue singing beyond high school. Each year the MVWC joins forces with the Minnesota Valley Men’s Chorale and other guest choirs.

Mission Statement

The Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale honors the tradition of performing quality choral music that centers on a community that sings together and introduces audiences to the power and beauty of the treble repertoire.

Diverse in culture, religion, age, race, belief, and sexual identity, we are a chorus committed to commissioning new choral works and raising awareness about issues that affect us as a choir. Through music, we aim to create a world that affirms the worth and dignity of every person.
